FISH BREEDER HOUSE
Lelystad (NL). Home of the former fish farm, which was designed in 1961 by architect Romke de Vries. The project, which also included a pump and siphon building, was one of his showpieces. The house was then used as an official residence and is on the spot where the business park of the port near Flevokust is to be developed. The houses would be spared thereby, precisely because of their cultural-historical value. The house was completely burnt down in 2015.
